Most triathlete’s seasons are coming to and end and they are often confused as to what they should do next.  The offseason is a great time to focus on your weaknesses and many people choose to implement a swim, bike, or run focus, which is a great idea, but not where you should start.  I would argue that your number 1 offseason priority should be to simply have fun! The Carnivore Diet – for an endurance athlete?

I’d like to think that I am a fairly typical middle of the pack, middle aged athlete.  Like many, I started exercising to lose weight.  This eventually lead to running, triathlon, cycling, etc… and it worked!  I initially lost 70# but recently I have struggled with gaining and losing the same 20-30# every winter and summer and I’m tired of it. Lost your triathlon mojo?

Help, I’ve lost my mojo!.

After two straight years of solid (although inconsistent) Ironman training I found that I’ve completely lost my triathlon mojo.  I’m struggling to even hop on the bike, and as those who know me will attest, that’s not normal.  I have zero races on the calendar going forward and have no motivation to sign up for one… until this past weekend!
